First and foremost, Wilmington N.C. is a welcoming city! In the last 20 years, our region has seen a huge growth in both population and diversity – owed largely to the favorable business climate, beautiful weather, and the excellent transportation links. We are a tourism destination.

The State of North Carolina and Local Governments combined have invested nearly ¼ of a billion dollars in infrastructure projects, industry development, and beautification to enhance the hospitality industry. We are committed to hospitality.

The Welcome Show takes place at the Wilmington Convention Center, a state-of-the-art complex that opened less than a year ago. With 30,000 feet of exhibit space  and absolutely beautiful decor the Center is the perfect place to welcome guests from near and far. It overlooks the majestic Cape Fear River, and boasts a riverwalk that leads to the heart of Historic Downtown Wilmington where you’ll find an abundance of shops, restaurants and nightlife.  We have a great facility.

Hospitality tradeshows are coming out of a period dominated by the proprietary food show.  Exhibitors have realized that the old format focuses on existing customers, rather than fostering new business development.  The North Carolina Hospitality Expo is a great opportunity to meet new people and discover new opportunities. We will bring you new business.

Our national advertising campaign will ensure a large audience of qualified buyers.  Our Southeast intense reach includes the major and mid-level markets in North Carolina, as well as all of South Carolina, and parts of Virginia, Tennessee, Georgia, and northern Florida.  The Welcome Show is the ideal environment to showcase your products and services in front of a large, growing market. The Welcome Show is scheduled in September to capture the best of two markets:  The tourist markets are coming out of a busy season with money to spend, and the traditional markets are gearing up for a busy fall.
